WHAT IS THE PHASE-LOCKING ADDIN?

The Phase-Locking AddIn is a specialized plugin for EventIDE software that enables real-time delivery of stimuli locked to precise phases of biological rhythms (e.g., alpha, theta, delta). Unlike retrospective analysis tools, this AddIn works live—predicting upcoming oscillation phases and synchronizing stimuli within 1 ms cycles.

HOW IT WORKS

Your EEG signal is streamed live into EventIDE, where the Phase-Prediction AddIn analyzes it in real time using ultra-fast algorithms. As each oscillation approaches its defined phase angle, the system prepares and dispatches a stimulus signal — ensuring the precise temporal alignment needed for effective phase-based stimulation.

Live visualizations, full signal access, and customizable algorithms allow fine-grained control, data recording, and adaptive neurofeedback workflows.
